Difference between Steering Wheels?

Besides the perforated leather, is the steering wheel on the 135i sport package different from that one on the 128i sport package?

Is one thicker, or is the diameter smaller?

135i sport package has a different steering wheel than the 128i and the 135i without the sport package. It's the same diameter, but a bit fatter, doesn't have the silver trim, is covered with black perforated leather, and has the Motorsport badge.

You can see the diff on the configurator for the cars on bmwusa.com.

personally, the steering wheel is worth the extra $1000 for the sport package alone. Sport seats were some of the best I have EVER sat in. For me, sport package is just a no-brainer option. Even if you wanted the chrome trim, you could just buy the chrome trim and change it out and it would be worth the extra expense for the seats and steering wheel.

I always heard if you can hang your thumbs in the steering wheel, it was a sport package car. I have a black piano key trim and my steering wheel has the silver trim.
