This looks sick!! Idk how you can make a judgement on fitment as the only picture we see of the engine is of the intakes lol. Still, looks like a dream project!!

You just better make sure the next gas station is close enough (unless it has an additional fuel cell in there somewhere). The V10's combined with the tiny 1er gas tank is kind of comical.

Do I see the old SMG gear lever in there?

It's an impressive swap, but I'm pretty happy with my inline-6 and manual.

Is the that a real 1M or a replica? The instrument pod looks like it has black-faced tach and speedos. As far as I know, 1Ms are gray.
And an SMG? That just looks really odd to me for some reason.

Yeah the description says SMG. I would assume the tach and speedos are from the M5, considering the S85 needs a vastly different tach from the N54

It all depends on the right foot. The E60 M5 gets anywhere from 9 to 20 MPG, but the 500 lb weight savings should help out.

It is NOT! This car was made (Bj or EZ) in Nov, 2008!!! SO its a clone with a engine transplant.

I had an E60 M5. It was a torque-less beast and many times I was lucky to get 120 miles per tank (city driving). The 1M is far more satisfying to drive - handles better, accelerates better (0-30). I also get 50% better mileage (although that only equates to 14.5 MPG ).
