Finally saying hello! Some may recognize my handle from the M5board. Still have the E60 just don't post much on there as the commentary has become a little remedial. Picked the car up March 30th for my daily.

Jet Black on black, ZSP, ZPP and due to my heavy traffic long commute it is auto. I'm actually impressed with how well it holds the gear in DS though!

Car has been great; previous owner had front plate screwed into front bumper cover. Already picked up a new cover and awaiting for it to cure prior to having installed and clear bra installed. Had an odd idle issue when cold and that seems to have been resolved with a service update.

Appreciate all the great insight and commentary on the forum. Look forward to the comradery and meeting any locals!

Pics of the new family member and of my mistress!

Cheers!

Very much enjoying it!

I actually bought the first Dodge Dart from the local dealership before I picked this up. I couldn't handle the poor quality even as a daily. Surprisingly the Dart actually handles ok, but is a gutless wonder.

This meets my power needs as a daily and holds its own against most of the common boring cars of the day. Though with the few run in's with the more capable is when I wish for the M

Cheers!

By the way, what did you do with the old bumper cover? I am looking for one from a 2012 as I like the style better than that on my 2011 128i. Did the old one have the headlight washers the way the new one does?
Thanks

Still on the car as new unit is curing. Having it installed at end of the month. Will be available after that; it does include the headlight washer.

It's not in perfect condition hence why I'm replacing; it's not that bad I'm just OCD. If you're willing to wait you have first dibs.

Cheers

Yes running halogens. Thanks on the wheels, what I think is odd and have never seen is they are actually directional wheels as well i.e. There are small arrows on each wheel.

Here is a shot of the head lamps and fogs on. The phone camera doesn't show the yellow of the fogs very well, but they are yellow.

Here's a question: How did you get to the fog light bulbs?

Was there a lot of disassembly to get to them?

Small imperfections not a problem as I'd have to have it painted anyway.

Please tell me when it becomes available.

Save the box from the 2nd one if you haven't thrown it away!

Well it is actually quite ridiculous what it takes to get to, but not to bad. Unscrew inside wheel well (about 4-6 screws if I recall) pull back and with a good light reach in and twist 45deg and bulb pops out. Repeat for other-side.

Cheers!

I'll see what I can do on the box as it was sent into the shop that's doing the work (shameless plug: Haury's in Seattle). I'll give them a call and see what I can do. I'm sure from now to then they will have something else that would work too.

I'll get better pictures for you when I can.

Cheers

Wow, that's pretty tedious... I guess it goes without saying that you removed the wheel, huh?

Thanks for the info.

Actually no. Jacked up from center front lift point and (hard to see, but it is there) turned wheels left or right depending on side to allow access.

Cheers
