Windows tinted???

I got my windows tint to 5% the other day after having it done, for some reason I have to be pretty much on top of it to have it unlock any explanations? before I was able to be a good 25-30feet away now it's like 5feet.

Sounds like you got Metallic tint instead of Ceramic. Metallic can kill your remote range. Google has a bunch of info on this subject.

Thank You, but I don't see how it would affect it so much because I have no tint on the front window.

Not sure what to tell you, but that seems to be the case. Ask the tint shop what brand/type of tint they used. I have Wincos Ceramic all around and my range didn't change at all after having it applied.

5% all around, except the windshield.
