Only a 545 or 550, though. (Or 645 or 650, but those weren't choices.) I think I'd rather have my 330 than a 530.
But now that I have driven my 330 for a while, I know that the 5 is not as fun to drive. They are distinct driving experiences, with the 3 being more fun to drive. Close, but not quite. If I had gotten one (only a 545/550) it would have been a trade-off: space for fun-to-drive-ness.

I have been driving a 540i borrowed from BMW for the past week and really didn´t like it.
Much prefer the 3.

If I were to add the 6 then I should add the Z4, X3 and X5 too. You want me to make another poll?

The poll is really
1.) I would have bought a 5er, 6er, or 7er if I had the money 2.) I do have the money (for a 5er, 6er, or 7er) yet I still bought a 3er 3.) I would still have bought a 3er even if I could have afforded a 5er, 6er, or 7er

Since I wanted an XI I am glad I have the 330xi.
The 530xi would have been slower and less sporty. What I REALLY would like is a 335xi.

I love my e90 330i, I test drove the 525 and the 530 both with sport package and the 330 just felt better. I thought, I don't need the extra room so whey drag the extra wieght and stuff around. I have a Z3 to go to the beach with the top down. My wife and I just needed a little extra room to haul a couple of friends, a little bit of luxury and not have to sacrafice preformance.

I would still get the 3 for handling and size and the 7 is out of the question because you cant get a manual transmission.

I love my 3
If I could get a 550, or M5 I would, nothing like that lubberly BMW V8 (or V10) surging all creamy smooth under your foot

Definitely the 3 was my car of choice!
However, an M6 with AWD would have been very tempting, but somehow I don't think BMW will ever put xDrive on an M car. I also love the little Z roadsters. Basically I prefer small, agile machines but had AWD as a requirement due to the extensive mountain roads, snow, ice and dirt roads I encounter. |

Even though I am 6'5" and would have more space in a 5 or 7 series, i prefer the 3 because it is easier to manuver. Better handling and easier to park. i never liked big cars
