autox/drag tires
I'm looking for the best of both worlds tire wise lol. I plan on taking my 1 to both autox and the strip this summer and I'm looking for some suggestions on a good tire i can put on my stock wheels. I'm leaning towards the toyo proxy R1R... what do you all think?

How much experience driving do you have? If you're looking at street tires Dunlop star specs are the general reccomendation

I highly recommend dunlop star specs for autox, but they are terrible down the 1320. I could not get traction at all at NED. My best run was short shifting first and putting it into third and still had traction issues. So I'm not sure what tire offers best of both worlds.

AutoX and drag strip have opposite characteristics.
For drag racing you want the tallest tires with softest sidewall to allow for a good launch. For autoX and circuit racing you want a hard sidewall for maximum lateral performance. You can't get both in one tire.
