Pretty sure I paid under $100AUD to my door for mine.

Regardless, I have to ask- am I the only person amused that BMW owners are bothering with a group buy to save $20?

You most likely paid that amount a while ago when the aus dollar was still high.
Try buying it now for <$100 AUD shipped inclusive of all other fees!

$20 is still a decent saving - anyone that has made it to be wealthy themselves to afford a nice car would have been smart about their money and save when savings can be had.

Basically, you don't become rich paying over the top prices for items/services when it can be had cheaper for the same elsewhere. It's a terribly wrong generalisation of the wealthy imo...

I don't disagree with you regarding saving money is a positive choice, but I guess in this instance my comment was in relation to the value of your time/energy to obtain that saving.

Depends what your time is worth to you.

You're doing it right!

Maybe you can try putting the car in gear (I used sixth) and then just pull upwards like you've never pulled before. Make sure you don't smash yourself in the face though

I did it in sixth. Came off surprisingly easily. Remember to disconnect the boot first
