Didnt purchase xenons when I bought the car. Now I need em, called dealership and they wont sell or put them in, (warranty issue)
And people wonder why their xenons get jakked. This correct?

It's actually very difficult to fit the Xenons, aftermarket.
The car needs new control units, new wiring, programming and a whole bunch of stuff. BMW probably doesn't want to take on such a job - then with you* naggnig them about a loan car while you have something that they don't usually do done for you! *By you I don't mean personally you, I mean the general "you" (the evil customer) I don't blame them for turning you away. They probably don't want to take the risk installing something they don't really know how to install - that will take considerable effort and isn't "supposed" to be installed by BMW. No where in the accessories brochure is Xenons retrofit. It's a factory fitted option, finished and klaar. |

I thought they treated me well up there. (Westchester is my dealer too.)

Build a car up for your enjoyment, not to make money. You're going to be disappointed if profit is your sole motive. |

I may be remembering incorrectly, but don't some markets have non-adaptive xenons? Wouldn't those be a pretty simple retrofit? Maybe it was the Canadian market? Not sure, but maybe worth a look.

1st: the value of your car actually had depreciated once its out of the showroom 2nd: mileage matters 3rd: if you think by adding some mods to the car is gonna bring up its value, the answer is no...perhaps if you put HRE rims ($5-8grand), brembo brakes (thousands of dollars), awesome tires (a grand), retrofit xenons with cool angel eyes (more than $2grand if you want it to work without error messages), full cat-back eisenmann exhaust, bodykits (bout a grand), turbo or supercharger (5grand and above), superb sound system and subwoofer, coilover (bout a grand) or air suspension (close to 5grand), etc. then i think you can sell the car above the price tag but then again how much money would u have put in it for you to break even? i seldom see people who break even or make profit when they sell their cars, unless they have the specials (limited edition cars or collectors' items) good luck with ur sale anyway
