Any 01/09 builds that have had to get them replaced?

You guys are all lucky... Wish I was getting a fresh set of injectors, the pulsating ticking noise sounds terrible.
I know the US recall is based on build dates but apparently ours is based on specific VIN numbers. |

I took the car in to the BMW services center today for them to check out the rough idle. They checked the injectors and replace one.

At this rate BMW are gonna have to issue us some new engines. Frankly I'm tired of having to organise time off work just in order to fix something that shouldn't have been an issue in the first place

I've never owned a car that was as high maintenance as this one. There seem to be quite a few issues with these cars. Having said that, I think as enthusiasts we seem to be aware of all these issues and anticipate them whereas a majority of owners of these cars just think they are really unlucky when the problem or recall arises. My dentist owns a 335i and during my last check-up I asked him how his car is going and how many times his HPFP has been replaced and he was surprised that I knew about it because he had no idea it was so common. |

Haven't picked it up yet Joe.
They had my car for 4 hours total. It's a quick job. Remove all injectors scan barcode and replace if injector number matches bmw camp. |

I really like the 330d, they go quite well. 3 injectors... not bad but I really think I'll hold the record for this one. My SA loved the meth lines all over the engine bay. |

The 330d is a great car..Still a bit noisy for my liking thou when idling. Would have loved to seen the look on their faces when they opened up your bonet.. |

I had a couple replaced ages ago and when I got my car back it felt like I gained 20hp! My car was running really bad in the weeks leading up to them failing though.

What build date are all your cars that got replaced? I have a March 2009 and have yet to receive a call and doubt I ever will.
On idle mine is smooth then it will skip a beat ever few seconds. I had the issue back in '09 and bitched about it but he said that's 'normal'. Performance wise though it's fine. I did get a call from a sales guy today though regarding a 1M.... about 4 months after I sent through my inquiry. Nice work guys.
