Sirius, thanks for the input. I HATE the way my suspension bottoms out in my xi. This winter had so many thaws and freezes, our roads are a mess here. Every little bump HAMMERS me and the car. Even a new Civic that I tried has a better feel on the road.
If I can dump these RFTs and improve the ride I will. I ran winter non-RFTs all winter, and I can't say the car was as unpleasant to drive as it is now. PICs PLEASE!!! and details on the tires you bought. Thanks!

Anyone else switch to NON-RFT tires ? is the road noise lower, ride better and by how much ? say on a scale of 1 - 10 with 5 being the Runflats how much better are the non run flats ? are they worth the extra cost (tires, spare, mobility kit, etc) ?

I love my non-runflat Pirelli PZero Nero M+S. The ride is lexus-like, the handling is not compromised, the treadwear rating is 400.
I have a $20 Slime kit in the trunk for flats.

They are excellent all around sport tires. I have about 30,000 miles on them so they are getting worn, but still have good dry traction. However, the road noise has gotten MUCH louder once the tires hit 25,000 miles. I would buy them again, great ride and handling, and they tune well with air pressure adjustments. T |

Right, if you're on a lease that is the best strategy for sure. I think I will just wear my RFTs out and next summer get some nice Michelins or Goodyears.
