My friend is lending me a car for all of July. I'll be cutting up the quarters then - the final step.

There are lots of places in SD that come with garages. You can find some nice little houses/cottages with garages in the North Park/City Heights area that are affordable.

We ended up moving up the 15 to the Temecula area and I do the commute every day. You can pick up a 3k square foot home with 3 car garage for around 300k up this way.

I'm looking into apartments unfortunately. I have 2 cars so selling the 1 will make moving 100x easier and cheaper. I would have a hard time trusting even a garage unless it was monitored because of how close it is to the border.

Thanks for the advice though! I am looking forward to being in the SD area!
