These are the wheels that come stock with the LSE (limited sport edition) versions of the hatch and sportshatch E87 in Europe. Only the LSE was available in Carbonschwarz and I believe 2000 of them were made.
Front: 7,5x18 215/45R18 Rear: 8x18 225/40R18 They also come on the E90 LSE but in different sizes. I think they're also available in the 135i stock wheel sizes (so a 8,5 rear)

Dont have anything with "BMW Performance" to do, but yes they came with the limited edition hatchback.

I saw them in a brochure last week for the BMW 1 hatch here in Belgium.
They are indeed included in that "Limited Sports Edition" pack. They're based on the design of the BMW 320 SI touring car! If I ever have a one series, i'd most def. want them on it! But before I can buy expensive rims, I should save some money for a car .. |

I also love these wheels. I considered ordering them with my 128, but had hoped BMW might offer some sort of credit for the existing 17-inchers. My thought now is that I'll use the stock rims until the tires wear down, put winter tires on those and then next Spring purchase the 216s with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2s and be the happiest 128 owner alive.
