Do you have a full car picture with the mud flaps on? I'm really considering them but am wondering what the car as a whole would look like. And are these available from the dealer?

That would be great if you could take some more pics. I also have the monaco blue so it would be a great comparison. Too bad they don't make the flaps in the same color.

Nice pictures. I also install mud flaps and they look better in person then these closeups show. I am sure they look the best or don't stand out as much on darker colors.
RedTRex, when I installed my front flaps I used a razor blade and cut off the mud flap nub that fits in the body groove, it seems to lay flatter against the body. |

I agree and I want to get the mud gaurds as well.
They do look better in person than in photos. I had them on my jet black 3 series and it looked fine. For now, I'm considering doing the front set only. For additional photos check out Lester's @ http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12928 Pics From Lester's 1 -

Thanks for all the shots. I just ordered mine from Dan and they should arrive very soon. I would imagine they're somewhat easy to put on? No jacking up the car needed?

The car has to be jacked up in order to get at the existing screws and bolts. Two holes have to be drilled into the inside wheel liners as well. To do this, two of the wheels should come off as well. Otherwise it is fairly easy to do.

Actually, I did all 4 with wheels on and on ground - I was able to get cordless drill in behind front wheels and drill ....... definately would be easier with front wheels off tho'

For those who have posted with pictures and info. Thanks a lot for this! I was wondering if I should put them on the car. I know it changes the look, but keeping the car for years without damage is also a consideration. Maybe I will Photoshop a pic of my car and add the flaps and see what it will look like. Hmm then weight the pro's/con's of buying/installing/using the mudflaps.
BTW how do you find them other than the looks? Do they work well? EspressoBoy |

They're just shy of $40 for the entire set if you order from the site listed above. I figured once they come in and I didn't like the way they looked, I could always end up selling them to someone else who wants them but I'm almost positive that won't happen

Xin1120 thanks for the reply. On a deep colour I think they are ok, but on Alpine White? Hmmm If they do major protection, maybe in winter... maybe put them on late fall and take them off in the spring time?
Thoughts? Much depends on how well they work, how easy to take them off, and what they look like. EspressoBoy |
