Most aggressive offset / width for 18'' rim.

Just wondering whats the most aggressive offset and width i can run on the 1'er with moderate fender rolling. 18 inch tire. Also I would like to know what size tire i can fit on there without rubbing.

Rear and front sizes please.

Thanks.

Steve here has 18x9.5 +40 w/ 245s in the rear and 18x8.5 +45 w/ 225s in the front and they are very aggressive (definitely requires rolling the fenders especially when lowered.)

you can run a 38 offset but that will require rolling of the fender lips and cutting some on the inside, the VMR wheels rub also

This set-up doesn't rub- it took a few tries with tires, etc to get it there though. It's Steve's daily driver as well.

Fender rolling isnt a problem for me. Its when cutting is required where I don't really want to go through the hassle.

Whats the drop on the car? coilovers or H&R springs?

The rear cutoff is somewhere around 18x9.5 et45 with 245 tires, fender roll, and 1" lowering. If you go lower than that or less offset or wider tires, etc rolling won't be enough, you'd have to cut. Btw, that setup rubs at times and would also require cutting if you have more than 300-400 lbs weight including you in the car. Of course there is some individual variance, especially in tire profiles.

Sek-m, even people who speak good english often don't understand trendy terms like "rolling the fender". When people modify cars, they often want the wheels to fill up the fenders as much as possible, they like that look. To get these wheels to fit, they often use a special designed roller to press the fender lip as flat as possible.

Rolling will get you around 5mm of space. You could actually cut the lip off which would get you more like 10mm of space. Trimming the fender liner helps some rubbing issues also. The other option is to have the wheels machined to increase the offset.
