LCI Blacklines- would it work on early build 135i?
Hi Guys,
Does anyone know if the LCI blackline (highline) LED taillights work on all 135i year models? Would it work on a 135i (built in 4/2008) that has no xenons,no adaptives and no day time running lights(only halogens)? When and why is the additional wiring harness used and must the footwell be replaced? I know this has been discussed but I am not sure if the answer in this respect is definitive... Thanks Last edited by Imo135; 11-20-2012 at 06:55 AM.. |

All U.S. spec 135i models come equipped with Xenon's standard. 2008-2013 BMW 135i tail lights are all interchangeable with each other, even the black lines, as long as there equipped with Xenon, they are simply PnP.

Thanks. We in South Africa have the non-xenon option thus halogen. We want to install a set of these taillamps which are LED's LCI highline blackline on a halogen car (4/2008 build) which also does not have the day time running lights (no halo rings at all). Would it work on this application?

i think they make halogen blacklines as well, the lci portion of it doesnt light up the same way, but cosmetically its identical.
