Personally, I like HDR's when they have a lot of different colors in them, but I get what you were going for here and I think it looks good.

I like that you left a lot of shadow in the picture. Too often people end up overexposing things and you get an HDR no contrast.

Thanks, I purposely left a bunch of shadows to set the mood, the HDR was used to bring out all the cracks/lines/shadows without blowing out the lights.

And yes, I like more colorful HDR's (but not overdone)... however, the environment here didn't allow for that.

So what's up with the modified right side of the bonnet...has double curves, no straight line?

I think the "double curve" you're seeing is actually the reflection of 2 florescent bulbs along the hood line.

Nice colors and lighting, but I think the nose stretch is a bit too much. It reminds me of a dog sticking his nose in the camera.

True, the distortion of the lens pulled the nose out... I actually cropped out about 15% of the top of the image, so the bottom was really getting towards the edge of the frame, thus causing the distortion.
