BayArea pot hole thread!
I just thought of starting this if there isn't any yet.
To start with, there's a very pronounced meeting of paved and unpaved surface at the corner of Calaveras blvd. and Hillview that runs directly perpendicular to the flow of trafic. There's no way of avoiding this coz it runs through the entire road. So I guess we all gonna have to find an alternate route. |

Pot holes are all over bay area roads and its getting worse day by day because there's no maintenance. It feels like I'm driving an autocross course everyday going to work just by dodging pot holes.

I agree - there are pot holes all over the place in the Bay Area. Worse, the runflats that come standard on our cars amplify the potholes and are particularly tender. I lost one to a pot hole a little over a year ago.
I switched to non-runflats about three weeks ago (Michelin PSS's) and what a difference! If you haven't switched yet, I highly recommend ditching the runflats. |
