Most have under ground parking garages. And yea... you have to pay extra to park there. Most are only a few euros. Say ten or so per day. Once I stayed in Frankfurt (in the city) and paid 24 euros per day! Ouch!

IF anyone is looking for a decent and clean hotel chain... I have recently discovered a small chain call: www.motel-one.de Their rooms at cheap at 59 euros per night (73 for two people). They have free WiFi in their lobby plus they will give you a free iPhone to surf in your hotel room. Or you pay 5 euros extra for WiFi in your room. Parking was also five euros extra. So far I have stayed at their Dresden, Leipzig and Munchen/Garching hotels. All the rooms were identical and very clean and modern. It's a small room size... but hey your just sleeping there right>? Just thought I would throw this out there IF anyone is on a budget. The Motel-One in Garching is just down the street from M and also the U-Bahn is right there as well.

Most "mom and pop" hotels in Germany are around 45 euros per night. Most big (western brand) hotels are around 100 to 140 euros per night. In the middle class are hotels like: Motel-One, Ibis, Etap, Mercure, ect(are around 60 euros pp). When you book a hotel you should also ask IF breakfast is included or extra.

Dackel
I was desperately looking for Motel one in Innsbruck! None there yet! Taking along the family for ED can be an expensive proposition, as food and hotel costs go up considerably.. so a good middle class hotel like motel one is definitely a good business strategy!

Can anyone guess who lives here? Hint... note the architechture... lots of glass..

The owner of Red Bull and hangar 7 of course!

then we came round this hill..

And the tour came to the town of Mirabella..The tour bus stopped here for an hour to let us walk around

the church used in the movie for the wedding..

we stopped for some apple strudel and ice cream...

Finally the returned back to town and we saw the fountain at Mirabell Gardens

[/QUOTE]

I saw u enjoyed ur stay in Austria!

Just so u know:
Its not Mateschitz's house! Its headquarte building for Red Bull so more like the main office building!
The town where u have been is not called Marebella...
Its called "MONDSEE"!! (if directly translate it to english it means MOONLAKE which comes from the lake where the town is located because it has the form of a sickel/halfmoon)...

However I hope u have great fun with ur car in future!!

cheers

I will make these corrections.. . And Mondsee vs. mirabella.. I knew that the city name was not correct but was up late and too tired to look it up.
