Honestly though, I'm ok with the lack of CF roof (for costs), no hood bulge, etc. but I really think some of the interior options should have been included as std. For example, iPod/USB... doesn't that come std on a 135?

CF roof would have been the icing on the cake.
Hood bulge really serves no purpose, DCT is not in the spirit of the cars intention, all the other bits can easily be added. |

what i think would have been cool: dedicated m seats or (maybe even as €€ extra): the performance seats with an ///M logo instead of performance and orange stitching

I am more than happy as is
if I wanted the bonnet bulge and cf roof I would have just bought a M3 : ) Anything else I will just do myself and make it more my own...... |

A metallic dark blue paint option. Maybe similar to the recently released F10 M5:
I realize this isn't necessarily a 'standard' option but honestly, the 1M comes standard with pretty much everything I reasonably expect from a M car in this price range. If I was being idealistic, I really think Sat-Nav and Premium sound should be standard on all M cars with the option to delete |

I totally agree. The one BIG thing that I wish I could have is the Comfort Access as a stand alone option! Grrrr! I want manual seats and no NAV and would gladly pay $500 for CA a la carte.

Although I am totally happy with the way it looks now, initially the things I wanted most that weren't included in the reveal were (in order):
1) The name "M1". LOL. 2) Blue 3) CF Roof 4) Hood bulge 5) Proper M Seats |

Proper seats
A bespoke transmission that I can be 100% sure can take as much beating as the M3's.... A lower front wheel gap from the factory .... Just a half inch would be ok with me.... |
