We plan to have the 8.0" wheel as a "standard" width. We will start with the V710 and progressively have them available for other wheels, including VB3, V701, V713, V718, etc. according to market demand and input from our business customers. The plan to start with silver/hyper silver, and progressively introduce other colors into the product offering.

Keep in mind this is no easy task and I've been sacrificing sleep to coordinate everything from production all the way down to sales and warehousing. Again thanks for everyone's patience

Hi 1er's!

Just a new update for you guys. We have locked down production numbers and we will be having some 8.5 +45 and 9.5 +50 V710's in both 18" and 19" Hyper Silver coming in mid Jan. For those interested, feel free to contact me directly at charles@velocitymotoring.com for additional details.

I would like to Thank everyone again for their patience! Testing and production for a new wheel of this magnitude does take quite a bit of time and geared with the holidays coming around, its been hectic!

Thanks for the update Charles.

I'll be looking for some wheels next year. Any time scales on the different finishes, namely gun metal?

Gunmetal isn't officially on the production calendar yet; it will require a commitment (either thru GB or one of our vendors) to be added on. Our goal is to bring Hyper Silver in all fitments all designs first.

Hyper Silver will be the initial finish we will be bringing in. If there is a demand for the MB finish we can definitely bring some in. But for now, customer powder coating is available!

Hi

Update from VMR WHEELS

Copy of e mail From Charles below

Hi Andrew,

Congrats on the new car purchase! The wheels are scheduled to arrive mid Jan and pre-orders are open and are highly recommended since there will be a low quantity. We expect to sell out before they arrive. 19x8.5 +45 front and 19x9.5 +50 rear will need a 225 front and a 245 rear tire. Fender rolling may be required depending on the tire manufacturer and alignment of the car.

Best Regards,

Charles Tran

19x8.5 +45 and 1x9.5 +50 is still slightly on the aggressive side for 1-Series depending on the specific tire manufacturer you go with and the alignment of your car. If you decide to run a more squared off sidewall tire with 0 camber, some slight rubbing may occur during full compression.

Andrew, I sent you back another email. Falken FK452's and Toyo T1R's are perfect tires to use on a 1-Series since they offer the most clearance due to the rounded sidewall design.

Ditto. Hyper Silver will be the initial finish with Gun Metal and Matte Black to follow. If you guys are looking to get alternative finishes, feel free to let us know and we can do a custom one-off powder coat for you.

What we are starting with is the 9.5" width ET50, this one involved a small modification in the 9.5" mold to make it happen.

Second, a 8.0" wide front wheel is in the works, but with no ETA yet.

So in the interim, you can go with a 8.5 ET40/45 in the front, and 9.5 ET50 in the rear. Should anyone wish to switch over to a 8.0 when it becomes available, we will discount you enough that you can switch over with little/no out of pocket cost!

How does this sound to everyone? If you go to our site at www.velocitymotoring.com, there will be no information yet. These products are still in the R&D phase and isn't marketable yet
when will the V713 19x9.5 and 19x9.5 ET50 be available?
