1M LSD

Does anyone know what kind of LSD the 1M has from the factory? Is it a clutch type? I can't find much online. Are there any exploded diagrams floating around?

Wet multi-clutch pack. Variable torque distribution; up to 100% to either wheel, unlike a conventional locking diff.

Here's an excellent demo comparing 25% locking, open and the variable m diff.

I wish I understood more German! I sort of get the gist of it. So when a wheel goes in the air over curbing for example, the power should transfer to the wheel still on the ground?

Yes. Up to 100%. Best scenario for powering out of a corner. When DSC is completely off, and you can push it hard on a track, you can really feel the outside rear wheel digging into the asphalt when powering out of a corner. It's a lovely sensation.

That's what I suspected because it seems to put down the power pretty well even going over curbing under hard throttle.
