What would you spend ~$900 on ???
Ok......poll.....say you only had about $900 to throw at your 135 for the time being....what would you opt for from the following? I will be a father soon, so my finances will be headed a different direction for a while.
1. JB3 and BT scanner 2. Performance exhaust 3. CF rear spoiler and window tint |

From your list I would go with JB3 Pin-out, BT scanner, and CF rep spoiler
Should come out to right under $900 Personally with $900 I would pickup JB3 Pin-out, SSK and do the CDV mod

I strongly recommend to replace the front sway bar and you will be amazed on how little money (& how easy to intall) that you spend and how much improvement to minize the body roll and much better suspension feel.

Thanks for the recomendation My135. However, over the winter I took care of the suspension. I installed a set of KW V2s and am very pleased with the performance!!! Body roll dramatically reduced, feel and agility also improved. |

having just installed the y-pipe of the perf exhaust only, I'd defintily go for the whole thing based upon what they y-pipe alone sounds like, it's awesome

If you must, I would get the exhaust of the options you listed.
I'd steer clear of the JB if you're on a budget, simply because the risk of warranty denial (and hassles attendant thereto,) will be there. The CF spoiler is just gravy, and the tint just isn't a necessity given the weather patterns in Pennsylvania. (If you weren't budget-minded and are unconcerned about warranty, the JB is probably the best buy.) If I could spend a little more, I would get the performance suspension in lieu of the exhaust, since IMHO the suspension actually gives you a real improvement in performance vs. the exhaust, which mostly just sounds nice. In reality, though, if you're going to be a father, go out and buy a good car seat that'll fit well in the 1er, save the rest of the cash, and call it a day. Oh, since you're in Lancs., get a good set of winter tires mounted on dedicated wheels, if you haven't already. |

Nothing like realizing the true potential of just the stock car on a few track days/weekends. THEN you know what you need to mod =)
