$99 for a tour AND 2 hours of track time at Spartanburg

Autoblog link

Looks like fun. Who's close to that. Someone needs to do this and post a review please :-)

I suspect "2-hour driving program" does not translate to "track time".

The article does say driving on the track.

It sounds like PCD minus the delivery (not for $99 anyway) and perhaps minus the offroad course with the X5.

It is about ten min. from my house....

have been on the track as passenger in an m3. Really wasn't too excited about the passenger thing, but was awesome! I need to get over there with my 1.

I was on the track in an autocross last fall. They used cones and the start/finish line location to keep our speeds down. So the fast cars were peaking at around 70mph and the average was probably under 40 mph. I asked an instructor what they do on the unobstructed course and I think he said they get over 100 mph. There is a blind turn/hill I guess a little like one at Laguna Seca. I had a lot of fun in the autocross (and on PCD last July).

I was at the plant and got a special inside tour because I had some good connections. Never got to drive on the track, but the plant tour is a must.
