Has anyone installed their afe intake yet?

I'm looking to get an intake and the afe looks good. I was wondering how others have liked it and their thoughts on it.

Wow, looks fantastic. Can you speak to the volume and pitch of the resulting sound?

its not much louder then the stock airbox which was the one thing I was disappointed in...as far as performance you can feel it and as far as cold air, it now takes a little longer for the car to get to normal operating temps when Im doing 50+ mph

I appriciate the comments... All of it was easy to install and works great. Much more pow through the power band... As for sound the intake is very quiet but the blow off valve is crazy loud when you let off the gass....

I don't believe that dyno was done by a third party. I am still hesitant. (I see heat soak written all over this)

Agreed. I can't believe BMW's intake design would give up that much hp.
