Anyone without the storage pocket actually do the cut and install? Can you post some pics??

Also, I've emailed that seller about that housing requesting USA shipping but no response.

They are pretty arrogant and won't bother replying if you don't live in Germany or Europe.

Your best bet it to get it shipped to the UK and use a freight forwarder. Good luck!

Looks good guys, been thinking about doing this since I bought my car. Glad to hear it works well, this might be the motivation I needed to get it done.

Sorry to bring up an old thread but I'm after this housing. I can't for the life of me find the OEM part number, or anywhere that'll sell or ship to Australia.

Any help would be muchly appreciated!

This is not an OEM part.

Refer to my previous 2 posts regarding location and shipping

alright admirable you're not in a massive rush are you?

I have some relatives that live in the EU so I'll explore that option vs using a forwarder and let you know.

I got everything installed but the OEM housing seem a bit smaller than the aftermarket one. I won't able to get full screen on that opening. I may try different route with galaxy mega with a bit smaller screen. At this time I using the power from cigarette lighter under the console

How are you able to turn on and off the tablet once installed? Do you have to modify anything or have to take it out??? Hows the cutting process kinda skeptical of cutting into my dash.
