Worlds fastest 1M.
Worlds fastest 1M and the fastest N54 hybrid turbo manual car.
Special thanks to Advan for all their hard work (especially Billy) Trebila for his fantastic flashes and his tiresome work JD75 for his tuning, parts and technical support Last edited by martymil; 08-22-2016 at 03:03 PM.. |

Great work to pedal a manual down a slippery and unfriendly track Marty.
Can’t believe your slip sliding effort takes the crown when we should have seen a 10 out of your current power levels with better grip and launch. I hope your current set of RBs don’t end up on the smoky scrap heap like the last ones.

They haven't got the best reputation but hell they make some very decent power
Let's hope these rebuilt ones hold up, they done 2.5k so far and no smoke, early days yet. They might not last long in my car as there might be a new upgrade coming to replace these. |

I checked the records on my car and they have actually smoked after 2400kms and not the 5k I assumed.
I am going to start an Aussie RB smoking turbo thread to get some proper numbers and perspective for local guys out there as we all have short memories and get a bit silly when good power numbers and results come.

I have no problem of anyone taking a poke at rb's, they have a seriously flawed
track record nobody can deny But there are some that last a long time and looks like these are one of those sets I don't push my turbos past 23 psi, there is no point anything after that is just hot air Last edited by martymil; 08-22-2016 at 03:03 PM.. |

So I took the beast down to the track tonight to try and beat my time.
The track was terrible, you might as well drive on ice. Best I could manage was 11.6@129mph with a 2.0 60ft I really wish they prep this track properly, I'm spinning through first and second. There definitely a 11.0 flat there or even a very high 10s pass Most drivers I spoke to said the same thing, it was slippery. |

Are you thinking about Cootamundra air strip? That gets used for drag battles a few times a year by Motive DVD

Just the control arms for the rear end is over 1k I pretty much have everything but need to get all the gear to make it adjustable As the 1m factory setting are a very conservative for the track and set up for street use and not very optimal for good tyre wear at extreme level like the track I'm doing a private track day at the farm soon Invitation only and some very extreme cars get there for some good practice sessions |
