Ordered my 135i

Hi all,

I ordered my 135i on Saturday:

- Lemans Blue
- Black leatherette
- Aluminum Glacier trim
- Manual
- MSport package (261M wheels, etc.)
- USB
- Ski bag

They gave me a great trade in value for my Acura RSX and I'm financing the remainder. It should arrive late May/early June.

Now I play the waiting and tracking game.

BMW Waterloo. I had a good experience working with my SA and the Sales Manager. Not a very good experience with the lady trying to sell me on rust protection, 3M, extended service, road hazard protection, tints...yadda yadda yadda...

Is anyone actually buying any of this? If I do get tints, I'm certainly not paying BMW $500 for them.

It was hard for me to keep a straight face.

Well I am getting tints but not from the dealership because I find the tints on my TSX (35% which is legal) to be to light.. and dealership only tint it to the legal %. I am gonna go out and get either 30 or 20%.. also I had rust proof on my white TSX and damn it made the car look dirty because of the yellowish/brownish rust proof chemicals they put on my car.. 3M is good unless you go with white because eventually it turns yellow... extended service on a BMW is not a bad idea thou..

Congratulations!

Sounds like exactly the configuration I might order (if I finally decide to pull the trigger). I usually don't get a car in the same colour as my last one, but that Lemans blue may be too nice to pass up.

Start counting those days...

We don't have the website tracking but there is an 800 number that you can call. The 800 number is always behind the info your SA has though, or so they tell you. No idea how specific the info is as I am still waiting production

Hi all
After getting my production number from my sales rep today I called the 800# and they were able to give me my VIN. Seems they do have more info than the rep as she didn't have it avail.

1-800-567-2691 is the number I called and spoke to a rep.

That's good to know. When I called the 800# looking for my build week, the rep said she didn't have any info but to check with my SA so I just assumed the SA knew more. Guess who's getting another call tomorrow.

Congrats. I wonder what they gave you for the RSX?

In Jan 09 I plan on ordering a 135i MSRP aprox $38k. At the time my 07 Civic Si sedan(black) will have aprox 15k miles. New it was $22k MSRP. I wonder what they will offer me on the trade if I pay MSRP for the Bimmer? I figured $15k. Outright I should be able to get $18k, but if I order a 135i and sell the Civic Si outright, I won't have a car to drive. Plus I will gain about $1k on taxes tradding in the Civic Si. What do you think they will offer me on a trade for the Civic Si ? In mind condition. At the time I will owe $16.5k on the Civic, so I will need to put down at least $5k due to being upside down if they only give me $15k. ???

What he got on a trade might not matter because this is the Canadian forum and he's from Canada.

As an aside, don't trade in a car you're upside down on. If you still feel it's a good idea (not sure how it would be), you can just roll the financing over (if you're upside down by 5k they'll just finance that in with the car if you want).

Goooooooood news! My SA was able to amend a car for me. Therefore, my 135i will arrive in late April/early May instead of June!

Huzzah!!
