To those Autos with Dinan Stage 2 Rev2...

I have asked this question in the past on the other site when I was stock but now that I have Stage 2 I would like to repost as a sanity check...

I had my torque converter replaced days after purchasing the car and therefore have no sense of reference. Not that I'm trying to create smokey burnout to showoff but from a technical standpoint (and to check that everything was done correctly with my torque converter), should those with Dinan Stage 2 be able to produce tire spin from a dead stop without power breaking? In other words, if you are stopped, in D1, and floor it, with or without DSC, does your car spin the tires from a stop?

(Note: While my tires don't spin from a dead stop, they do at about 3.5K after getting the Dinan tune.)

Any help would be much appreciated.

Sorry I cannot help with your situation. Possibly you can answer a question for me, I want to purchase an 08 135i, I was reading that it has a feature called Auto-Store. Does this allow the unit to store songs from a CD, if so do you know how many?

If you have an auto you should be on ver 3. I have em 19" 255' in the rear my car chirps and takes off it does not just lay rubber. I hope this helps a little

I have never heard of auto-store on an 08. In 09 the new Nav unit might have this type of function. Welcome MRSDAISY!
