Looks like you will be spending the night with cuts and grazes on your knuckles, but should be worth it!

The sway bar install is really easy, kinda wishing I did mine myself. Glad to see you went with the E93

quoted $500 including wheel alignment. It's more expensive than the parts but it is a bitch to take out and put in

Have you used him before? Looking at getting some things done by him, but Andrew recommended someone in coopers plain.

Yes, may as well throw in an LSD at the same time if you're dropping the rear subframe! It's a PITA.

Good to know, so he won't muck around. Got a quote and his price is reasonable. I tried to find someone up on the coast to do it, and really they don't have much idea. Unless I can get one of my staff's husband to do it for me, looks like I might have to head down to Brisbane.

Also thought I'd recommend Terry Steadman from Fulcrum Suspensions at Stafford. Very professional and reasonable prices for the BMW community. Angus has also had work done there too.

Where dd you get the bushings from? Tischer only seem to sell them as part of a suspension kit and United don't list them at all...

Oh, and how much?

omg.. i can feel the front end!!

I got all the parts from the UK actually.

http://www.bmwpartsonline.co.uk/

They don't list all their parts online but I've been dealing with one of their guys there. I give him part numbers and he simply quote the parts and shipping.

swaybar + brackets + bushes + shipping = aud$$282
subframe bushes = additional aud$230

All shipped together

yeah Mike does pretty much everything

http://www.prestigeandperformance.com.au/

And he's honest and straight forward to deal with. To a point where he pointed out that most aftermarket parts can be bought from the US cheaply so he doesn't try to re-sell and put his mark up on things.

He can also do the DMS tune through Harding Performace if for whatever reason someone wants a flash tune instead of a piggy.

I don't think you need to drop the subframe to change the diff Vin. You do to swap the rear swaybar though.

Has Mike/Prestige & Performance installed DPs before? They're not far from me & Coorparoo train station so could be handy.
