At 11:30am sharp we start to drive. We should have about 35 1er's coming! You might want to get there earlier than 11am. There is a small park platz as soon as you turn onto KellerstraBe - that is where we will meet. We will drive for about two hours and 100+ km thru the "Fränkische Schweiz" German state park. We will stop a few times for photo shoots and rest breaks at some park platz's and farms(probably). At the end we will stop at a Beir garten for some drinks and food. (bring some euros). Last year we ended up at Kathi Brau (a famous biker gasthaus) - we might go there again. I am not sure. PLEASE make sure you have about half a tank of fuel for this drive. We won't be stopping for gas. IF you need some fuel before hand... as you take the Buttenheim exit... there is an Agip gas station - put 25 euros in there. The nearest Esso is in Bamberg. Don't worry about driving slow... there will be plently of slower cars(& drivers) coming. This is a really nice drive thrui little swiss. There will be some great roads we will driving on. Dackel |

JK, yes that is close to you! It is near where the A7 intercects the A3. There is a huge Esso there... and the car show is in the huge back parking lot. And geuss what> ? They will have a compitition on who has teh loudest exhaust! I kid you not! They have what the Germans call a db dyno! You should have no trouble winning that contest JK! The show cost 15 euros and goes on from 20:00 until 1am I think. There will probably be four hundred plus cars there! I might go too - just to look around. So... who all is coming on our Little Swiss drive? For you guys driving three plus hours away... you might just pack a bag and find a nice Franconian hotel in Little Swiss. There are many ice places for under 100 euros per night for two people. Dackel |

The exhaust isn't quite a loud with the 3" DP's on there now but it sounds amazing and is comfortably making 17psi. I will def be at the swiss drive.

Maybe some of you guys would like to kill some time after the drive and lunch...
There is a very nice Castle in Little Swiss called: Burg Rabenstein. They have falcons and knight displays/fights on the weekends. http://www.burg-rabenstein.de/ Just a though. They also run a hotel there and have tours of the Castle durring the day. Or maybe Nick you might want to go take the Fam to that Summer Rollerbahn (Luge) at Pottenstein. Dackel |

I plan on coming out with my dirty, dirty car and the new GoPro.
The battery is charging now, I may not get to shoot any video till I arrive. Thanks for the tip on the Esso station. |

I'm copying the 2 videos to my MAC now. Hopefully I'll have something worth posting soon... EDIT: After watching a bit of the video I think I should have taken Dackelone up on his RainX offer. Last edited by Mr Kleen; 07-30-2011 at 11:50 AM.. |

Yes, I also had a great time. Driving the backs roads of Little Swiss is always a nice way to spend an afternoon. I couldn't beleive how many cars we had (35 ?). Some of the Germans guys told me privately they have never seen so many 135i's in one place! lol Especially the two loud (1addicts) ones! (you know who you are - we won't use your names!).

Wish I could have made it...with my crazy work schedule, my honey do list is longer than my 135 modding list glad you guys kept the tradition of huge European 1'ers getting together and representing us 1addicts in style.
