Anyone have a pic of the compact spare tire in a 1-series coupe trunk?
Thinking about getting one, just wondering how much space it would eat up in the trunk.

Finally got some poor quality pics as requested. It's tough to get enough lighting so you can see into my trunk. The first pic is how I normally drive around, my Metrinch socket set under the spare. I also have a breaker bar and inexpensive torque wrench under the spare. In the second pic I removed my sockets but then it's hard to tell the depth of the trunk. That's the scissor jack I bought also. This is the LeatherZ donut and cover, $297.

Mine looks even smaller though I'm sure it's not. There's still room in the trunk for stuff so it's a good idea for daily driving.

It appears to be smaller than I thought it would be. This might be the answer for the non-runflat winter tires. Thanks!

Your spare looks smaller? Which spare set up do you currently have?

It's probably the same donut, but mine's in a clear plastic bag so it just looks smaller.

Damnit, I keep forgetting who I bought it from, but I think it was Barvarian Autosport. At the time you could get just the wheel (which I did) and buy a cheaper jack kit somewhere else. Since then, other people have found a less expensive solution with the Tire Rack, but it may be a full-size wheel (ask Gill).
