Nice ride, did you have to roll your fenders?

Hey heroyo ,

No fender roll needed, but I'm also running the following wheel specs:

front- 18x8.5 +45 (225, 40, 18)
rear- 18x9.5 +62 (255, 35, 18)

This tire configuration will be upgraded soon though.

More to come soon. I think I currently have the rebound dampening on the KW's set to 6 clicks from full hard. I may even increase the level from there. Not sure. I usually prefer a ride on the stiffer end, and very flat cornering. The suspension is still very comfortable even at this setting in my opinion. It's not jarring, but solid. The car NEEDS* a proper LSD for sure. I'm not sure how people keep adding power to these cars with no LSD. You really can't adequately put power down without one. Well, more specifically, you can't put the power down in corner exit like I would like to.

Update July- August 1017:

I've been behind on my updates lately!

I had the time to get some Vorshalg camber plates, a front splitter with rods, and some wider rubber in the front. I'm now running 245 35 18's

Gangplank yeah, they actually are. They seem to be holding up well, and they're light.

Thanks Matticus91 ! Your car looks clean though, I was looking at it the other day. haha The parts you chose seem really cohesive!

The splitter is from FlowDesigns Australia. All I can say is that the quality, fitment and hardware are perfect. It's made out of Polyethylene so it's also practical/ durable.

Thanks for the compliments! I'll see if I can find it, would make a great addition to the front end!

Hey guys, I bought it here: urotuning.com. They had great customer service and communication! I hadn't heard of them prior, but the experience was good enough that I would buy from them again!

Update Fall/ Winter 2017

Whooooa, way behind again on updates. Here's the latest.

New parts!

-ATM intercooler
-ER Charge pipe
-H&R front and rear swaybars
-More camber front and rear. -2.5 front, -2.2 rear

Side note:

I debated on installing the say bars (especially the rear) based on all of the forum comments on increased oversteer without an LSD. Personally, even with coilovers and m3 rear sub frame bushings, when weight transferred to the rear of the car during a sharp directional change, I always felt like I had no idea what the rear of the car was doing. haha. It just felt like jello or a huge rubber band.

Personally, how well I can drive the car is determined by the confidence and predictability I have when driving it. That being said, I decided to accept that I may have more oversteer with the H&R 20mm rear bar, but it will be gradual and predictable oversteer which I can deal with. The key is "predictable."

Post install this is correct. The car has virtually no noticeable body roll and the car is now predictable to me. I'm able to feel a lot more of what the car is doing in a more linear fashion. Rather than trying to deal with the rubber band rear.

Any increased oversteer that I may have encountered I've compensated for by increasing the rebound for the front struts. In the near future I will also be moving to even wider tires in the rear to give some added grip. The car still needs a real LSD, but for now this is more than adequate.

Results have been exactly what I planned, and the car is finally feeling like it should have from the factory.

More to come...

ATM intercooler unboxing

Swaybars arrived!

Prior to install

Charge pipe install

Front mount installed

All done!

Hey Matticus91

Thanks a lot! I've been following yours as well! Lots of good stuff going on!

As for the splitter it's a Flow Designs (https://www.flowdesignsaustralia.com/) splitter with some stabilizers that I sources separately.

It's really high quality, durable and comes with everything you need for the install.
