I genuinely am intersted in answers to these questions because there is so much mis-information out there it's hard to tell what's what, or at least I'm not sure?

Thanks in advance.
Yes, the plastic you have to cut is not visible from the front of the car, but it still may affect resale value as potential buyer may look for signs of modifications.

Some intercooler flow better than others. I am not about to start a big debate here. What you want to look for is the least amount of pressure drop across the core and the highest drop in IAT's to start off.

Thanks for your response.
Do you have these 'flow' numbers to help as a comparison?
It's perfectly acceptable for potential customers to want to compare quoted numbers between products, so I was wondering if you could post up the difference between some cores with regard to flow and pressure drop as you mentioned.

No, we don't have any flow data, but someone has done some data logging that may help you. You might have to search for that info.

Have you found any more answers on this?

Now, the car is perfekt. On Dyno the power was 413HP and 580NM.
So, there is no any Turbo lag.

The software must be applied to the car. Because the car ist learning.
After 500Km the car is ready.
And then the car have 420PS and 590 NM
The Software is making by www.ms-chiptuning.de

So its beautifull

Cool! I also have my flash tune from MS Tuning. It is simply awesome! No codes, no engine check lights, no hicups at all in 20K kms of autobahn driving and P-O-W-E-R!! I only have Marcel's Stage-II flash, so only 380 PS and 520Nm. But the Wagner FMIC is really calling (out) for me for Christmas.

Q). Did Marcel@MS-Chiptuning also install your FMIC (Ladeluftkühler) ? Or did you install it yourself? I am just curious about the install.

I am serious considering it. Maybe for Weihnachten (Christmas).

I remember Marcel saying he could give me a new map/tune to go along with the intercooler mod.

I have stage-II: 380 PS and 520Nm, 1bar boost/druck. Everything else stock(cats, mid pipe, down pipes, all there OE).

I remember Marcel saying he offers a stage III with a FMIC (Wagner). Also... he said to make more than 380 PS you need down pipes (ie no cats). He said teh stock cats are too resptrictive for high PS (HP).

+1, I've just received mine today, i'm very happy because the quality is high, i was a little bit disappointed by the pictures on wagner's website (the pictures really don't give justice to the product).
It seems that the installation will be easy (plug and play).
Thanks to Marcel and Dackelone for their advices.

Let us know how you go with it! I still got two weeks wait before it arrives! At least it is not as long as the wait for the car .

I've been doing some reading on the ets intercooler and it sounds like a really solid unit:

http://www.extremeturbosystems.com/E...tercooler.html

Michael from ETS mentioned that it doesn't require any cutting/trimming of the bumper.
