Didn't you have some tyres you didn't want anymore. My daughter will be there in her 130i.

Come see me at Lakeside. I'll have the orange MINI.

Anyone interested? It's not a full supersprint, but rather a training focussed event and good introduction to motorsport for novices in a lower speed safer track.

http://www.bmwclubnsw.asn.au/calenda...t&event_id=100

There are still spaces available.

Good to see you again Rod and great you have your daughter racing as well.

Terrific day as usual, impeccably organised and run.

Amazed that we dont see "any" E92 M3s at these timed events, given the nature of of these vehicles

Great day despite the wet. There was a supercharged E92 M3 last BMW day at QR. It was quick.
Sarah was disappointed she didn't go faster. The 215 tyres probably didn't help.

I've got a set of 261M wheels lying around in 18's but is it better to fit 17's all round with 245s as Kristian's 130i is or 18's like the 135i's with wider rears?

Some awesome times by you guys on Friday!
2011 (old) Z214s. 225/40/18s all around. $930AU delivered. If these easily clear with the 2nd hand et40 18x8s I just bought I may try 245s all round in future.

17s may be better if they'll clear the front brembos. Square setup is preferable but I've used the 261s til now.

The Shannons 135 runs 245 square. I tried it once with DZ03s and went slower.
Be good to be able to rotate tyres though

Yeah, I've been running 225/255s on my spare 261s 'til now. Always wearing out the outer edge of the front LH first so will be good to now be able to swap them around a bit more. Aligned my front end at -3.0 degrees yesterday so may be able to fit in fatter rubber up front. Rear 8.5" 261s won't fit on without a spacer though as they hit the strut.

How did you get the camber? Did you have to fit plates?

Dusted? John only just pipped your road car with his stripped out M3 track car. Awesome driving Koastal. You two were were in another league. I was just best of the rest. Better than the poor bloke who rolled his E60 M5 though

Sadly I can't do Sandown, I'm overseas at that time.
But I've signed up to Phillip Island on the 31st with Maserati Club.
