Normal for phone to charge when car is off and key fob isn’t in?
So I got into the car today. I had unlocked it with the fob and then sat down in the seat. I left the fob in the passenger seat and then reached for my phone charger that is plugged in to the USB port. And my iPhone did the little buzz and showed the icon that it was charging, even though the car wasn’t even in accessory mode and the fob was over in the seat.
I know it’s kind of silly, but is that normal? |

normal
it's a wakeup mode of sorts. when you unlock the car, or open a door (car unlocked) that's been sitting for over an hour, the electrical system wakes up and makes most things available. you can turn the radio on, the fuel pump primes. |
