Spraying Turtle Wax Ice on the hinge solved the problem for me. Interesting to see how long fix lasts.

Mine did that after months of having the car, I sprayed the joining points of the moving parts using "don't laugh at me" Zaino Z-CS Clear Seal, and I never heard heard of my armlet since ;-)
I did it in a despair move as the squeak was driving me crazy, so first I thought in my bicycle's chain lube but that would have generated an unpleasant smell inside the car, so my attention turned to Z-CS Clear Seal bottle... problem solved for me, with no odor and a bit of extra shine to the sprayed parts :-)

This happens on my car as well. Funny part is that it's not consistent or predictable. I frankly believe its temp related (heat from the tyranny).
My 135 feels pretty rock solid so I accept this as a charming flaw. |

Wow, Never thought zaino zcs would be the product to solve this, but that is my rake away from reading this. I have zcs, so that would be doable. I think it is a silicone product but not sure. Probably a silicone spray/liquid of another sort would work too.
Mine is a 2011 and does this intermittently with temperature and road surface. Dealer of course couldn't replicate but honestly I can't always either. I too think it is the rear cover piece. Glad I found this thread. I'll have to try zcs sometime. Did anyone apply it in a cleaner manner than spraying it as a mist? |
