Looks like I may have to roll my fenders

Had it raised today 20mm, look almost stock and it still rubs on bumps.

Height is now 335mm from the centre of the roundel to the fender.

The Yoko S-Drive must run wider than alot of other tyres?

That must be frustrating mate. I was thinking today that it could be the tyre. I have S-Drive's on my 3 series and they are a really good tyre but it looks like the run a bit wider.

Maybe you could raise the rear suspension some? I have heard of using a rubber pad under the spring perch (from other BMW models). Just a few milimeters might buy you the clearence you need.

Have you pulled off the rear tires and LOOKED what it is rubbing on? ???

Yes, it is rubbing on the metal fender.

Since the pictures in the first post, it's now been raised 20mm. It's close to stock height now.

It doesn't rub every corner anymore, but does rub on quite a few bumps.

I've already suggested this to Michael as I encountered that problem myself. http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...highlight=10mm

I'm still stumped as to what it might be

Even if the S-drives are slightly wider it shouldn't be rubbing in my opinion.

I remember this thread, and when they installed my suspension they did the same thing and could only lower it by 10mm

But after looking at pictures in your thread they removed everything to make it look like yours and thats how I could get as low as I was.

Height specs (from roundel to fender) are:

Front
Before 315mm
Now 335mm

Rear
Before 313mm
Now 335mm

Wheel alignment specs on the rear are:

Camber
Left -1̊̊ 18'
Right -1 24'

Toe
Left 1.2mm
Right 1.2mm

Do these look normal? Quite annoying to drive even at this height, 10min drive it will rub at least 3-4 times

Thinking the only way will be to roll the fenders, just thought these wheels were designed so I wouldnt have to do it

To those that have rolled their fenders, other than inside the guard/wheel well, can you tell they've been rolled?
