As per my sig, a E90 325xi. I miss AWD, been driving it for almost 20 years, but the 1Series doesn't have it, and there is definitely some issues with XDrive. Thankfully, living in South Florida, the rain dries quickly so hydroplaning is not too bad.

Mine was 01 Mercury Mountaineer with the V8 and SVT Handling Option package. Still have it for when winter gets a bit too hairy.

Trading in my 2003 Lexus SC430.
Nice car, rides like a brick though. Did not like the BMW 3 convertible back in 2003. Miss the BMW ride and handling. Really was impressed with the 128 test drive. Ordering my new car this week. Sucks to turn 50 (next week) but good excuse to get a new car. |

Why did I sell it you might ask? It really was a problem. Every where you go, every where you park it. You have to worry about it. Will it still be there when I come back? One time, at a little past 2am, i woke up to hearing people outside of my house trying to steal the car. When the porch light and door opened, you could hear a car peeling out and driving down the street real fast. The thieves got away, and were never seen. The police not knowing the ITR was different from all the other rice rockets (or maybe it wasn't and I just thought it was) would always give you problems. All the fake ITR's out there asking you if your ITR was real. With the BMW, I don't have to worry about it being stolen so much. I don't think this is the kind of car that is likely to be stolen, parted out, or sold. It also has BMW Theft Recovery (maybe it won't help it from being stolen, but it will help in the recovery process or possible apprehension of car thieves; whom I hate). I do worry about the BMW being vandalized (BMW = Break My Window), or dinged by a door, or keyed, or whatever other horrible things you can think of. But I am not ever thinking I'll come out to a parking lot and my car won't be there. The difference between the two, as you noted, are night and day. The ITR was tremendous fun to drive, you could enter a corner, and hit the apex, smashing down on the gas pedal and just hearing that B18C5 go. You could really feel it. The BMW is a different machine. More power, and rear wheel drive. It can corner better (faster) than the ITR, and is more forgiving if you entered a corner to slowly/quickly. All in all, I really do miss that car. It was something I had coveted throughout high school and bought after graduating high school with all of my savings. It's the car I looked at for hours in magazines and the internet. It's the car I played all of the Gran Turismo games with. It's the car I played Forza with (haven't played 2 yet).

I had a 2007 TL Type S. I did not like it at all. Within 6 months of that the announcment came about the 1 series. I had a 99 3 series and a 2002 3 series. Not sure why I boutht the Acura. I ordered the 135 in January of 2008 less than a year after getting the Acura.

Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6 with a few tweaks so that lovely AMG Supercharged engine was kicking out about 370BHP. I can assure you in to two rear wheels that was fun )
