Window Sticker Copy

Hi,

Does anyone know if it's possible to get a copy of the window sticker? When my 1M was delivered, the window sticker was ripped quite a bit when it was removed. There are some sections missing. I was hoping to get a duplicate copy.

Another reason to pick up your car at the Performance Center, my sticker was laying neatly, untouched in the trunk of the car. Actually there was 2 for some reason.

Try goggling "duplicated Monroney sticker?" some people says you can't others say ask your dealer very very nicely.

I've seen second copies folded with the manuals. If not then you're out of luck.

I framed my window sticker and to my surprise there are two window stickers ontop of one another

Call BMW NA they should be able to send you one

I framed my sticker too!

OP: I had 2 stickers as well with the car, both flat in the trunk @ PCD. Sorry to hear yours ripped. There should be 1 more sticker somewhere with the car.

I think all BMWs come with 2 window stickers. One is usually attached to the window and the other in the glovebox or with the manuals.

I believe the Monroney label (sticker) are printed up at the port of entry. At BMW's port pdi center.

Your best bet to to contact BMW NA.

Mine was presented to me in immaculate, though laminated condition. No tears or rips.

Hi Matt,

I'm in New Canaan. I don't want to say the dealership name because I don't want people to think I'm complaining about them. In fact they were very helpful in getting the 1M. I shot the dealership an email to see if they can get a copy of the sticker. If they can't I'll then contact BMW NA.

I don't know whether either of mine was ever attached. They don't look like it, they are both on perfect condition. One was in the trunk and the other was in the owners manual case. I didn't do PCD either.

Hmmm. I only got one and it was ripped. In the scheme of things it's no big deal. It'd just be nice to have.

And I just threw mine away a couple of days ago, it was not ripped but had been folded and put in the glove box, I'll PM you if I can fish it back from the recycling bin and it's still in OK shape...

Please don't go thru the trouble. I'm hoping to get a copy of the one that came with my car. It'll have the VIN and the options.

Well I got a resolution to getting a duplicate of the window sticker. First I contacted BMW NA via the "MyBMW" link on the BMW USA web site. I explained how my original copy was already ripped when delivered with the car. Here's there response:

So that was no help. I then contacted my SA. He explained that the dealership retains the second copy of the window sticker for their records. I asked if I could borrow their copy so I could make a color duplicate at Kinko's. He kindly lent it to me so I could do so. I made the copy and returned the original. The copy looks identical, so I'm a happy camper.

Nope that's not me. (I wouldn't mind a large hedge fund salary though) I work at GE Capital in Norwalk,CT.

Unless of course it's my car he's seen. Oh wait, I don't work at a large hedge fund (not even a small one). But I've *almost* stayed at a Holiday Inn Express. Oherwise, I am a Realtor (anyone need to buy, sell, lease, or rent a home? I'm your man!). Yes, that was a VERY shamless plug.
