Album Cover displayed with iPod connection
I have searched this forum and cannot find the answer.
I have SatNav, HK and have seen that when listening to an album from my iPod (via y-lead connection) it does not show the album cover picture. It just shows a grey box with curved lines in it where it seems the album picture should be. If I download a podcast that picture (cover) is displayed. Is there a limit or recommendations to picture size for the album cover within iTunes? |

I've never had a problem with the album art. I'm not sure what the "y-lead" cable is though. I use the standard iPod usb-dock connector cable.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. -Crumb |

here is a post i wrote a while back on this topic. Since then, I have also learned that you need to look at how itunes stores the album art. by default i stores it by album and does not copy it to each individual music track, unless you purchased it from apple, in which case it will be included for each track. you can manually add the album art pics to each track or use a program like tune up to help you. I have an old iPod 30Gb from around 2006, and have same problem as you. No album art. Standard Y cable. Perhaps newer versions of iPod are better compatible
