side fender signal lights

So my side marker signal lights have turned a nasty yellow...any easy fixes? anyway to easily just black them out?

I picked up a set of smoked side marker lights for about $20 of eBay. Might be easier to just pick up a new set than deal with the trouble of re-finishing yours.

The smoked ones with amber bulb are on back order. Im waiting on mine still also. Probably should have ordered through Schmedman if they had it in stock.

This is mine with smoked side markers in direct sunlight. Picked them up from eBay. I cannot recall the vendor name. I'm sure a quick search on eBay for 135i side markers will do the trick though. I had to bend the tabs in a bit to get them to fit snugly. Other than that it was well worth the $20. The clear side markers BMW uses on a black car is one of the stupidest decisions BMW has made in my opinion. All black BMW's need smoked side markers.

here's mine. the pics kinda suck but whatever. Mod bargains smoked markers w/yellow led. the output is brighter than it looks in the pic.

(ignore the dirty fmic, pretty pls)

Looking great, Cheshire. I like the LED light bar, it's in theme with the xenon and tails. I've found them on eBay but shipping is $45 to the UK which is about the price of the markers. It's a shame.

I may take a gamble on the $20 3-LED style ones which are only around $30 shipped.

It sucks living in a country with no market for aftermarket parts on this car.

Can anyone link me to the $20 eBay versions that they've used? Do the produce an error code? I'm TRYING to communicate with a seller at the moment but its like bashing my head in with a hammer; basically, from what I can make out, they have no idea if their markers cause bulb errors :/.

sure- this was with the oem sidemarkers sprayed with vht nightshade. can't really tell from the distance, but it didn't look very good compared to the smoked/led combo.

Avoid these...friends and i switched to the ********** ones from these..
The Bimmian ones will have condensation and moisture issues
