AFE drop-in filter doesn't fit WTF
I bought an AFE drop in filter. I can put it in and make sure that its sitting right but I can't put the cap on the airbox and tighten down the clips. WTF? The seal around the filter is too hard and thick so the airbox lid won't close properly. Anyone else have this problem? When I put the stock filter back in i had no problems closing the lid... WTF?

Sounds like a quality product, send it back, you should not have to force something as simple as an air filter.

Believe it or not I filed the urethane seal down and almost got the airbox lid to close. More filing still needs to be done. I'm just going to use the stock one for now. The AFE drop in filter isn't happening. I'll just use it once my stock one needs replacement. Sorta sucks as I paid $100 shipped to Canada.
