Wider wheels cause brake squel

I have a 128i. Stockers are 205/50/17 all around. I notice when i put my wider wheels on 245 rear and 225 front on a 18" setup up my brakes start to squel during breaking. Anybody know the reason?

I guess i need an alignment or camber adjusted??

The squel is less when the brake warm up thou. Doesnt goaway sadly. Doesnt squel at all with my stockers on...

Any suggestions??

Nothing to do with your wheels/tires.

Are you sure the brakes are making the noise and not something rubbing while braking? What are the tire sizes and what are the offsets of the wheels with the 225/245's? Give us more information.

Like Mr E said, give us more info also how many miles on the car were any pads/rotors ever replaced? If so did they use oem or aftermarket?

Breyton GTS
18x7.5" ET 45 w/ 225 michelin pilot super sport
18x8.5" ET 48 w/ 245 michelin pilot super sport

STOPTECH STREET PERFORMANCE PADS
CENTRIC HIGH CARBON PLAIN 125 SERIES ROTOrs in the rear
StopTech SportStop Drilled Rotor up front

Ive checked my tires and and my wheels. no rubbing marks
Once the braking warms up, the sequel goes away.

No sequel whatsoever when I have my stockers on.
The tire and wheel combo is about the same weight as my stockers, if not lighter.

I even tried to isolate the issue and put the breytons on one corner with 3 stockers on, and the squel returns. did this on all four corners...

these wheels send off the (!) and DTC light on the dash from time to time too. Both yellow. goes away once you restart the car and drive. Will come back from anytime during a continuous 5km to 200km drive.
