BBS Style 5's (BBS RC's) on 2010 128i
Hey All,
Hopefully you can help shed some light on this. I have a 2010 BMW 128i with stock suspension setup. I have a set of BBS Style 5 wheels that are 17x8 with a 20mm offset. I'll be using 205/45ZR-17 tires. Do you know if I will have problems with running this setup? I'm also using hub centric centering rings, since the hub size on the Style 5's is slightly larger. P.S. Here's a couple pictures of the wheels and my car. Thanks! Drew |

If you make this work you will win style points
Issues are fenders in the front more than the back. et20 offset will be tricky to fit. With spacers et 35-40 will work In the rear it may be easier with spacers to get it to et35-40 level. Plus as a 128i you have the rear Hub mod available in the extreme case,

Thanks for the reply! Hmm so maybe I have this confused, but I thought that having the 20mm offset would cause to wheel to be further out to begin with. So in essence if I added spacers to it, then it would be an even lower offset? When you say I might have problems with it rubbing the fender, do you mean the actual painted part of the fender or the plastic fender lining?
Thanks! |

With a bit of negative camber, slight stretch, minor roll.. you should be fine.
