question for the ATLANTA people
for those of you who tracked every bit of your order like I have been doing. How long after docking in Charleston did you all take delivery of your cars? I just want a general idea of how long its going to be. The ship is supposed to be docking in Charleston on Wednesday. I bought from Global Imports, so I'm sure they'll have a bunch of cars coming over due to the size of that dealer.

My car was purchased at Athens BMW. I was recently on the Don Juan, which has a very large thread on this website. All our cars arrived in Charleston on 3-1. They made it to the VPC in Greer SC on 3-2. Most arrived at the various dealerships on 3-6 to 3-7. They are typically not ready for pickup until the dealer has had one full dy to detail them etc. Most of us took delivery on 3-8. In our case it was 3-9 just cause we couldnt get there on the 8th. I wish you luck, but three days from the ship to you sounds a bit optimistic..

he asked when it would be in ATL. It takes about 3 days but I agree with you about the additional clean up, etc. time. When I got mine, it had to get shiped to Palm Beach (where I purchased the car) and then trucked up Atlanta (the airport) where I took delivery. Whole thing took right at a week.
