WTB: 17" OEM BMW rims for 08 135i

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Location:
✓ Will Ship

Item Interest
Looking to purchase 17" wheels for my 08 BMW 135i. Ideally looking to buy 17" x 7.5 with 47mm offset but I'm open to other 17" sizes as well. Looking for wheels with no curb rash (or very little curb rash) and in good condition.

Style 264, 261M preferred but open to other models.

Tires on the wheels are not required but if you have them I can consider taking the wheels with tires; pending price of course. Also, if you have the TPMS, I don't require them but would consider taking them as well.

For shipping, I have addresses in both the U.S. and Canada.

PM me if you have something for sale. Pics preferred.

Thanks

Aren't OEM 135i wheels 18"? I believe style 264 are at least.

I'm not sure. From what I've seen the standard seems to be 18" but I'm hoping that there might be some 17" options in OEM wheels.

In Ottawa too. I believe our 128's came with 16 inch standard and 18 inch with sport package. Believe all 135's came with 18 inch. I think only USA sport pkg came with 17's.

The 264 and 261M are both 18" wheels.

I have a set of lightly used (under 8000 miles I was told) 17" staggered Style 262s (Star Spoke) from the 128i Sport Package with Pirelli summer/performance RFT tires (and TPMS) .

These are staggered -- the fronts are 17x7.0 with 205/50 and the rears are 17x7.5 with 225/45.

They are mint condition, no curb rash. I bought them to use for winter wheels on my 135i, but have been waiting for my current snows to wear out, so these have been sitting in my garage. I mounted and drove them for about a month last year.

The tires have a lot of tread, but I have not measured them. If you are interested, I can take some pictures of the wheels.

There is a lot of misinformation in this thread.

In the US in 2008 the OEM standard wheel on 135 convertibles was a 17" (I cant recall the model) 135 verts got the 264 as a part of the sport package, which is an 18" wheel.

135 coupes only came with the 264 in 2008.

In Canada you guys had the M Sport package in 2008, but I dont believe that it changed your wheels options outside of it.

The tires have a lot of tread, but I have not measured them. If you are interested, I can take some pictures of the wheels. I would sell them (wheels, tires, TPMS and Roundel center caps) for $600 (which is what I paid). Anything less and I'd rather hold on to them for next winter and new snows.

Do you know the offset of the rims? If you have pictures, that would be great. Please feel free to PM me the pics. If it's easier, I can PM you my direct e-mail address. As for the tread, if you don't mind let me know how much tread is left on the tires.

Thanks

Here are my set http://jkoral.smugmug.com/Other/bmw-wheels/ with Pirelli eufori@ factory RFTs.

I bought them with approx 6K miles on them (as described by seller). I ran them for ~2K miles. Zero curb rash, scratches, nicks. I just looked them over and snapped the pics. Appear perfect.

styles 261 and 264 are 18" rims.. My friend has her 2011 stock 17's she'd probably sell if you were interested. Located on the east end of Long Island.

Style 262 Wheels

I have a complete set of 17" style 262 wheels (17X7 and 17X7.5) and another pair of 17.5. Currently I have the four 17X7.5 mounted with Dunlop Sport Signature 225/45 R 17s (non run flats). I could sell them as the original staggered set (2-17X7, 2-17X7.5), or as a square set (4-17X7.5) with or without the Dunlops, which have less than 1000 miles on them.
