PA members, did you get a discount on your insurance through BMW Assist?

my SA told me, as well as a letter received from BMW NA, that since BMW Assist offers a theft recovery program, my insurance company should give me a discount on my premium in addition to the one that i get for having an anti-theft device installed in the car. so i called up GEICO (my insurance) and they told me that NJ, PA and some other state doesn't get that discount.

Anyone in Pennsylvania tried calling their insurance company? Did you get that discount?

i called my insurance company (state farm) and they said that in Arkansas, BMW theft is not a major problem, therefore, no discount for me.

I got out of PA, and into NJ - land of high auto insurance and even higher property taxes.

ha ha, unless someone offered me a job that pays six figures, no one would ever make me live in NJ! my family lives there and it's nice to visit from time to time. but i'd never live there.
