E82 1m Bodykit Conversion

This kit looks pretty good from CA UK. Does anyone has any experience installing this kit?

I am close to placing my order but I am not too sure how to work on the rear fenders since it is attached to the frame.

So, part are about 3500, and they offer 15% on parts ordered outside of Europe so around 3050, installation (at their rate) 2600.

So figure around < 6000 all together.

I think if there was an option here in the states to convert an e82 into a 1m body for less then 6K many people would jump on it.

+1 and their install cost seems a little high. Unless it will require some modification for a good fit.

Actually $3K for a front bumper, fenders, side skirts, rear bumper, and diffusor is pretty reasonable.

where you getting $3k from? it's 3.6k + shipping (at least 1k).. then $200-$300/panel (average.. $150/skirt/guard) for a high quality paint job

so even a rough estimate, that's gonna be $5800 on the car.

a very expensive mostly cosmetic modification :/

Besides a complete cosmetic redesign? The ability for a larger front bumper that will actually accommodate a real replacement oiler cooler. Brake ducts that actually cool your breaks.

There are many benefits, plus a lot of people wanted 1M's that weren't able to get them because of the limited production. This offers a solution.

Not trying to be rude but I've been emailing back and forth with the company for the past few days and they've offered it to me for £1860.00 plus £440.00 shipping via sea crate.

That's $3,600 shipped and is not an outrageous price for all those panels (assuming figment is decent). You have to remember its like buying a widebody kit for any other BMW. Your other option is prior design for $5999 plus shipping from Germany.

thats really cheap. I would love to just buy the rear fenders and bumper to compliment my ER front end. The car would be as wide as a 1M but still look like a 135i.

That's a great idea, I'd suggested giving these guys an email they've been really responsive to me.

Do it! And post it up including installation location/costs, etc.

I'd even come down to check it out in person if that's cool.

Don't worry, in either case you'd be staring at tail lights.

i contacted them, they will only sell the kit as a whole. The only parts available separately are the exhaust and hood.
