That's excellent! I was worried about the face (the spy pics suggested the headlights would be too narrow) but the real thing seems to look awsome. I still have reservation about the trunk line. However, I think that can be fixed with an M Sports Package..

In any case, it's finally time to raid that new car funds jar...

Just Wondering looking at that Pic I notice that the twin tail pipes are not split, is this a smaller model eg 325 ?

Ya it looks like a 325 or 330 (with out the chrome pipes).

Definitely looks like a 5 from the front.

The only thing is the bulky trunk line looks like a honda accord coupe from some of the angles,

but im sure its just the tape and stuff...

Can we start a new thread so when the REAL pics come out from Geneva, we won't have a 40 page thread to scroll through? This thing has become difficult to navigate given the various spy shots, sketches and photoshop jobs over the last few months...

Good idea, when the real one comes out we'll start a fresh new thread with the complete uncovered production version pics. This thread is what it is... spyshots, sketches, photoshops, etc... (i.e., everything leading up to the full uncovered production version).

But basically the pics in this thread are in chronological order.. so the the latest pics posted are the latest pics floating around on the internet.

just out of curiosity, what is that car doing in the middle of a crowded city street? The car is also really clean and polished. It's almost like BMW wants people to see it and create interest...

what is that little blue piece at the top of the headlights, being that the hood doesn't extend over the headlights like the e90 does.

True. It's a proven tactics BMW are using: in the very last development phase (just before the case is closed), and after till official press release BMW let their employees (even the junior assistants & students working there) to drive the light camoed cars around. To create the buzz and interest. The high frequency of light camoe spy pics coming means theat official press release is very close.

It's a camo tape in the same colour as the car body. Look at he rear lights - they are camoed with the same tape.
