Alignment for Dinan Suspension, M3 Control Arms and No Rubbing w/ 235 PSS's on EC-7s

The long title pretty much says it all, but just in case...

I'm looking for known working alignment specs to fit 235/40R18 Michelin Pilot Super Sports on 1-Series fitment APEX EC-7s without any rubbing up front. The car has Dinan suspension and bushings with M3 lower control arms.

As a bonus, I'd also be interested in rear alignment specs to fit 265/35R18 PSS's on the same staggered set of EC-7s with only Dinan suspension in the rear.

Thanks very much!

Cheers,
Bryan

Try for something like this (note that camber is degrees and minutes).

Alignment specs for my car. M3 control arms, Dinan Camber plates, Dinan stage 1 suspension w/ARC 8's running 235/40/18 RE-11's and the pins removed. Im able to get a max of 2.7/2.4 neg camber. Without the camber plates you should be able to get about 1.7-2.0 deg of neg camber. My rear specs have the rear M3 setup as well so I'm not sure if you can get this much neg camber, but I still don't think you'll have any problems fitting the 265's in the back.

Before I installed the M3 suspension stuff I ran that exact setup without any rubbing issues. PSS's 235/40 265/35. Some other folks have complained about rubbing on the inside of the front. When I switched to the RE-11's I had to add 3mm spacers to clear the front.

For drivability sake I'd try to keep the toe settings as close to neutral as possible.

Thanks guys. I'll start building up a spec sheet based on that input.

Cheers,
Bryan

I've got two places to call / visit to start. I've seen Precision in the NE show up as a recommendation on beyond.ca and one of the guys at PT said the Viteks got a new alignment machine last year. I want this done once and done right, so I'll be doing my homework beforehand.

Have you got any other suggestions or recommendations?

Cheers,
Bryan

So, I've taken the input from this thread and created a little alignment spec sheet to bring along with me to the alignment shop. Have a look and let me know what you think. One thing I've noticed from my earlier alignment results - the SAI is a couple of degrees different between sides. It should be equal and is much closer in the other alignment sheets I've seen posted online. Should I be worried?

Cheers,
Bryan

Hey guys. I've got my alignment appointment booked for March 9. I stopped by the shop today and talked with the owner. He was great to chat with, and is planning to do my car as his last appointment of the day so we can take whatever time is necessary to get it right.

Let me know if you guys have any suggestions on the specs I posted earlier.

Cheers,
Bryan
